Fili- Heir of Durin by RachelleFryatt Fili- Heir of Durin by RachelleFryatt
"From long ago when lanterns burned
Till this day our hearts have yearned
Her fate unknown the Arkenstone
What was stolen must be returned

We must awake and make the day
To find a song for heart and soul"

Fili, played by Dean O'Gorman.

Another dwarf portrait, this time Fili. I had so much fun with this portrait, it's ridiculous, although the amount of hair did test my sanity after a while!

Aww, that's really lovely, thanks! :) To be honest I can't remember how long it took, on and off I think it was about 3 days or so :) I usually take longer, but I enjoyed this one so much I got it done pretty quickly ^^

thats a lot of work than three days isnt easy :) i know two friends of my twin sisters work on some very realistic pieces for two weeks all together but just like in your case: at the end its the matter of how you enjoy it, size of format and technique, to make a wonderfull piece :)
