Another piece for my uni project.
Sirens are the souls of women who were abused by their partners. Their souls are so angry and distraught at the wrongs done to them that they become these warped, evil creatures. They lie in wait for unsuspecting male travellers to take revenge for all the cruelty they suffered in life.
They first appear as beautiful women with long flowing hair and angelic voices.
Their forms change depending on the tastes of their victim- their bodies contort into full hips and large breasts for some men, and young and lithe for others.
They also have glowing bands on various parts of their body which they can pulsate light through to further entice their prey towards them. Once their hapless victims are within reach their faces and bodies distort and they become hideous and terrifying monsters. They can open their mouths wide enough to devour a grown man within moments.
